A warm and affectionate welcome from the department of CS & IT. Computer Engineering and Information Technology are the key technologies that drive today’s digital world.
At present CS&IT area a key enabler for discovery and innovation in most other fields of endeavor. Late Steve Jobs said, “Everybody … should learn how to program a computer… because it teaches you how to think.”
Computer scientists and information technocrats invent the future by developing architectures and techniques for more advanced computing, and by developing the applications that operate within those frameworks. In the department of CS&IT we always intend to impart knowledge through a closed knit family of highly competent faculty. Our Laboratories are very well established not only to cover complete syllabus but to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus which definitely develops complete knowledge of the subject.
Elbert Hubbard said, “One machine can do the work of fifty ordinary men. No machine can do the work of one extraordinary man.” We focus on both the practical and theoretical depth of knowledge. We strive on developing skill sets of students so that they can become promising engineers in future. We believe that this approach to teaching-learning, coupled with practical experience gained during industrial visits and training in reputed organizations, equips our students to handle the challenges posed by the corporate world. Our aim is to produce proficient technocrats whose skills, innovative ideas and accuracy of knowledge can lead them to the path of success.
